Requirements for the Application for the TETFUND Scholarship

TETFUND was established with the aim of improving the standard of the tertiary education system of public institutions in the country. to this end, sponsoring the flow/establishment of educational structures in public tertiary institutions becomes one of its core functions.

Furthermore, the need to help the academic staff of these institutions attain complete academic growth which will subsequently benefit the educational system, brought about the TETFUND scholarship.

How to Apply for the TETFUND Scholarship

Application for the TETFUND scholarship starts at two different times every year. Similarly, application for awardees beginning their study program in September starts in May. On the other hand, awardees whose program starts in January start applying in October.

Furthermore, applications for the TETFUND scholarship are done at the TETFUND website. Also, applicants are to email the soft copy of all required documents to es@tetfund.gov.ng.

The documents which must be included in this application include:

  • An admission letter from the university you are to study at;
  • Approved and duly signed TETFUND nomination form;
  • Your CV, curriculum vitae;
  • An invoice from your host university – which must contain the total cost of your study duration, your names, the institution’s bank account details and other specifications that will facilitate the payment of your tuition fees by TETFUND;
  • Bond form;
  • Medical certificate; and
  • Bank details.
