Sophia Stallone and Stallone herself work out with personal trainer Kevin Mejia. Mejia discussed the experience of collaborating with the two in an interview she gave to Hollywood Life in 2020. In an interview with Hollywood Life, Mejia revealed that he and Stallone enjoy doing one-sided exercises. “After activation work, we’ll go into single-sided work like ankle-weighted rainbow kicks,” Mejia explained further. “This allows for a mind-muscle connection, which a lot of people lack in the gym — but it later helps people contract or squeeze the right muscles.”

5. She Gets Stronger

Stallone and Mejia enjoy working out together to increase muscle. He told Hollywood Life about a few of his favorites. According to him, it’s “straight core work” consisting of a couple of sets of wide stance squats and chest presses into folies. Additionally, Mejia clarifies his preference for these exercises. “Exercises like hanging knee raises are one of my favorite exercises to give them — and to most of my clients, because it lengthens the body and targets the lower abs along with improving grip strength.”
